Classically, Sporrans were categorised in three styles: Day, Day/Evening & Dress.
Day are Leather, Day/Evening have a Leather top with an animal pelt face. The Dress Sporran has a Metal ‘Cantle’ with a full pelt face
All our sporrans come with the chain strap for securing the sporran.

Belt & Buckle
A Belt & Buckle is only required when a waistcoat/vest is NOT being worn.
The Belt & Buckle gives a more casual look to an outfit as opposed to the formality of a waistcoat.

A ‘Fly Plaid’ should be fringed with a fully Hand-Twined fringing all the way around.
We include the ‘GT’ Brooch, it weighs the Plaid at the front, and we pin the plaid from under the shoulder of the jacket. Depending on the Tartan, a Fly Plaid may require a discreet join.
